 Behind Your Eyes

Behind your eyes was the phrase my sister said to her when her puppy was dying. Life can take inexplicable turns when you least expect it and that is what happened to my sister after the death of her puppy. After my parents' divorce, my sister was emotionally affected. She spent sad days not wanting to do anything until at some point she came home with a small puppy in her hands' yearning for my mother to accept it as part of the family. After my mother accepted "Copito" into the family my sister took care of "Copito" from that day on. He grew up and in turn became inseparable from my sister. I called "Copito" guardian because every time someone bothered her he barked and stood by her side to protect her.

Every time my sister's little dog protected her, my sister would tell him I would like to see through your eyes and see how you perceive the evilness of people and you have so much love to protect me and always be by my side. Unfortunately, after a strong illness that gave "Copito", no veterinarian could stop the disease that consumed his life. That is why "Copito" died and my sister is sad since that day. Now she no longer smiles the same way and often cries at night and always tells me that if you could see behind the eyes of a puppy you would realize that there is pure and sincere love as he made me see.
