A Good Way to De-Stress
Nowadays anyone you ask what should I do to
de-stress will probably tell you to exercise, but a good way to de-stress is
much more than just exercise. Stress is caused by emotional problems i.e.
depression, anxiety, guilt, anger, etc. All of these emotional problems that
cause stress are due to a mental state. That is to say that to reduce the stress
you should work with your mental state and then with your physical state.
So, what should you do to work on your
mental state? What you should do is very simple you should sit in a place as
quiet as possible for about 5 minutes and try to get your mind into a deep
state of consciousness where the only thing you put all your senses of
attention on is your breathing, this seems illogical or silly to do but doing
that every day for only 5 minutes will make you realize that for the first time
you start to keep your attention only on one thing without worrying about what
happened or will happen and this reduces stress and gives you a more lucid
mind. In conclusion, to lead a calmer life as a personal obligation, you ought
to do it for your well-being.
